It has already been the 8th time on September 8-9, 2007 that the annual event of the "Tokaji Regional Development Workshop Seminars" was carried out. The date of the event coincided with an anniversary: MEGAKOM Development Consultant - the leading member of the M&E Group, the organiser of the conference - celebrated its 10th birthday.

As the organiser, we wanted to deliver a useful, professional programme for each participant. It is becoming more and more difficult to avoid implementing only one of the many similar events, and we are striving to renew the conference again and again. We had aimed at renewing this event; therefore we introduced the following formula:

• Instead of a plenary session we determined 6 professional topics to be discussed on small group seminars;
• There were new locations for the dinner, the evening party and the competition;
• Live music on the evening party (thanks to the Pro Regio Band).

• There has not been as many participants on the conference as this time;
• There were heated discussions during many of the small group seminars, and a lot more people communicated their opinions. We have to admit that the tight time frame did not always allow opportunity for everyone to express their views and to discuss the topic in depth - we plan to make adjustment to it;
• There has not been as many speakers as this time - which was the effect of the simultaneously running several seminars; this increase, however, did not lower the professional quality of the seminars;
• The evening (and night) party has never ended that late.
